We – collectively known as the Human Race, have been given laws and conditions to live by if we want to enjoy the Nirvana that is … this Planet Earth.

We are not however, given a list of things we ‘should‘ do as that list would go on forever and confuse too many – rather – we have been given a list of things we must ‘never‘ do. That list is called ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ and is called that for a very specific reason. I don’t believe that there is a human alive who can honestly say that in their own quietest moments they wouldn’t totally agree with ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ and would love to have the strength of mind – willpower to be able to consciously adhere to all of them.

This is where this website comes into it’s own. Each page is set up by a poem from a unique collection first written and published (limited) in 1988 called ‘Visions Of The Future Past’. This collection was written through the ‘Child’s Eye’ for easy comprehension and digestion by the subconscious mind. A person can read these poems as light-hearted, entertaining rhymes that can be appreciated by those of all races, religions and ages.

These poems embody the laws that should govern our lives and subliminally retrain our mind to behave in a way that makes life so much more enjoyable and fulfilling on every level. It’s not hard going. There’s no need to read everything in one sitting, or even in a particular order (though that would be the preferred action). Infact, you should bookmark this website and make a point of visiting on a daily basis to re-read or pick up where you left off as a daily excercise for your conscience which in turn will guide you through the labyrinth that is – The Journey Of Life.

Take a look through in the privacy of your own mind and I guarantee you’ll say “I know it’s right, but it is Sooo difficult to live by these guidelines”. Pride is excessive belief in one’s own abilities, that interferes with the individual’s recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others’ traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

Now – it’s no surprise that every single person who takes the time to read through and seriously consider those Seven Deadly Sins will each have interpreted them to mean something entirely differently to conform to their own individual personalty, wants and needs. That’s not too bad a thing as our individuality is our saving grace as a species on this planet. Sadly, it rather complicates the comprehension of the laws that govern the Human Race as a successful inhabitant of our World. This is why ‘Visions Of The Future Past’ was written – to encompass ‘all’ interpreations and have the reader leave with a Universal understanding of those Seven deadly sins.

Religion – The number ONE cause of so much conflict in the world since the concept was first ‘imagined’ however many thousand years ago.
Yes – even more than politics.

Yet religion ‘should’ be the one thing that binds humanity if the various scriptures are to be believed. There can, by definition, only be ONE God, but because of that little ‘trait’ we all have called ‘interpretation’ different forms of that one God have had to be invented or created by ‘US’ – We Humans, that cannot possibly have claim to that power no matter how clever or rightious we may feel we are.

There has to be a binding gel, an emulsifier of thoughts and deeds that can unite mankind into the loving, caring and considerate race intended for us when we reach our Nirvana. That binding gel, that emulsifier is – ‘Visions Of The Future Past’.

But if YOU are at a crossroads in your life where a difficult decision has to be made and you don’t know which way to turn – Simply ask yourself this question
